About product

Omask 1:48 landing gear bay masking plugs: A-4 Skyhawk

A set of shaped masking plugs by Omask in 1:48 scale for a model of the A-4 Skyhawk fighter. It is not a paint and not a model part but a masking aid: the soft plugs are pushed into the landing gear bays and keep paint from running in while the surrounding surfaces are sprayed. The target kit is Magic Factory.

Use

  • Insert the plugs into the landing gear bays before you spray the paint.
  • They keep overspray out of the bay interiors and make a clean color break easier.
  • Once spraying is finished the plugs are easy to pull out.
  • They save time compared with masking by hand with tape and paper.

Who it is for

For builders of 1:48 aircraft models who want to mask the landing gear bays of an A-4 Skyhawk quickly and cleanly.

The plugs are a reusable accessory; paints and the model are not included in the package.
