1:48 Instrument Panel PWS-26 from Yahu Models is a finished instrument panel for a model of the Polish training biplane in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory from the Yahu Models brand replaces the instrument panel supplied with the kit with a finished part carrying a legible panel. With open cockpits such an improvement makes twice as much sense, because the pilot's compartment is visible without any cover at all and every shortcoming is on show.
The PWS-26 was a Polish training biplane of the thirties, serving for the advanced training of pilots. The abbreviation in the designation belongs to the manufacturing works Podlaska Wytwornia Samolotow. The machine had open cockpits for a pair sitting one behind the other and a fixed undercarriage, which is the shape typical of school aircraft of the interwar era.
It is meant for builders of interwar machines, who know that with a biplane it is the cockpit that makes the result. It will also come into its own on a model intended as a display piece, where a close view is expected and the flat print from the original kit would knock it down. A small investment thus raises the impression of the whole forward part of the fuselage.
