Square Magnetic Sheet SELF-ADHESIVE - 30x30mm is a self-adhesive magnetic sheet in a square 30x30 mm format from Green Stuff World. It is a modeling material, not a kit: the sheet is stuck onto the underside of a figure's base or onto the bottom of a model and turns it into a magnetically holding surface without drilling and without sinking separate magnets into it.
The base must be dry, degreased and smooth; on rough plastic or on the remains of modeling putty the adhesive layer holds less well. The sheet can be shortened with scissors or a modeling knife, so the square can be adapted to a smaller or an unusual shape of base. When a group has to hold really firmly, put a steel counterpart against the sheet, not a second sheet: two magnetic layers facing each other can even repel.
For players of tabletop games who often transport armies in play, and for modelers whose display case changes as they go. Try the strength of the hold on one base first and only then continue with a whole unit; with heavier metal models a magnet sunk into the base may be more suitable.
