Quinta Studio 1:48 Yak-9T flaps and panels (3D decals)

This is a set of 3D decals from Quinta Studio for models of the Yak-9T fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not photo-etch or resin, but color, finely raised detail printed on a flexible film, which is applied much like a decal. The set reproduces the structure of the flaps and of selected surface panels including riveting and shading, so the exterior looks more realistic without laborious scribing and painting. The set is prepared for the Yak-9T kit from Zvezda.

How they are applied

• The part is cut from the film and transferred onto a cleaned, smooth and degreased surface.
• The flexible film follows the curvature and takes the shape of the part.
• Light pressing down with a soft cloth helps it settle firmly on the surface.
• The color is finished at the factory, so no further painting is needed.
