An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish destroyer ORP Burza in her late 1944 form (wz.44) in 1:400 scale from Mirage Hobby. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
ORP Burza was a Polish destroyer that sailed for Britain at the beginning of the Second World War and went on fighting alongside the Allied navies. She was rebuilt several times during the war; the wz.44 form matches the late conversion to the role of an escort vessel with strengthened anti-aircraft and anti-submarine armament. The ship survived the war and today she is one of the symbols of the Polish Navy.
In the small scale the fine superstructure, guns and armament stand out, so give them care. Build the hull whole on a stand, or adapt it to waterline style. Paint with an airbrush and set the decks and the waterline apart. A dark wash into the details, a dry brush on the edges and fine photo-etched railings (not included in the package) will bring the model to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
