Decals 1:144 RAF Mustang are an accessory sheet of British markings for models of the Mustang fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory sheet of markings for models in 1:144 from the production of the Mark I firm, put together for the Mustang fighter in the colors of the Royal Air Force. The figure of two sets is part of the name. The package contains the decals alone, no plastic parts.
The Mustang arose in the American North American design office on the basis of a British requirement and at first flew with a V12 Allison engine, which gave it excellent performance near the ground but ran out of breath at altitude. The turning point came with the conversion to the British Merlin engine, after which the aircraft became an escort fighter able to stay with the bomber formations along the whole route. The Royal Air Force operated it under its own designations and in several successive versions, which differed in the shape of the cockpit canopy and the height of the vertical tail.
In 1:144 the individual motifs measure only a few millimeters, so they break or roll up easily. It pays to work over a light surface so that a small piece does not fly off on you, and to slide the decal from the paper straight onto the model without needless carrying with tweezers. Before you set about the next motif, let the previous one dry thoroughly, or you will shift it during handling.
