A licensed plastic model of the RZ-2 A-wing fighter in Resistance colors from the German manufacturer Revell in 1:44 scale. The slim wedge silhouette in a blue finish belongs to the fastest craft of the Star Wars film universe, and thanks to its compact size it makes a model that fits on any shelf.
The A-wing is a light interceptor and reconnaissance fighter famous for its speed and agility; the newer RZ-2 form was used by the Resistance in the fighting against the First Order in the closing trilogy of the saga. The characteristic wedge fuselage carries two powerful engines at the rear and trainable cannons at the sides. The blue variant refers to the craft that audiences know from the screen.
The smaller scale suits a quick and clean build: separate the parts with a sharp knife and sand the gate marks down lightly. The look is markedly lifted by a dark wash in the gaps and panel lines and by fine scuffing of the edges, as Star Wars craft stand up to bold service weathering.
