A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set made of Japanese kabuki film for the Lockheed F-104G/S Starfighter model in 1:48 scale. The double-sided (TFace) rendition is prepared for masking from the outer as well as the inner side of the glazing, so the shade of the interior frames can be separated from the exterior. The parts are numbered and come with instructions for their placement.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic fighter with a characteristic slender fuselage and short, razor-thin wings. The G version became the main multi-role variant committed with a number of European air forces; the S version was an Italian modernization with changed armament and equipment. The Starfighter was famous for extreme performance as well as for demanding handling.
Degrease the glazing. Use the inner parts when painting the frames as seen from the interior, and the outer parts afterwards for the final camouflage. Lift the mask with tweezers, offer it up according to the numbering and press the edges down for a crisp line. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not creep under the film.
This is a masking aid, not paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
