The set brings elements with a raised effect that are laid onto the interior parts. The name covers two designations of the aircraft, because the model the set was prepared for is released in both forms under a joint designation. The airframe itself is not part of the package and has to be obtained separately. The target kit is Academy.
This type is among the most built fighters of all and its cockpit is constantly in view thanks to the hinged bubble canopy. The pilot sits in a strongly reclined seat and the instrument surfaces converge into a fairly narrow space. In the medium scale the interior is therefore clearly visible, and at the same time already small enough for hand painting to hold you up for a whole evening.
On a flat coat, light rims are left around the edges and are then hard to remove. A short gloss coat before fitting prevents that and at the same time makes it easier to nudge an element into the right position. You get the flat look back with a final clear coat once everything is in place.
The set is for those who build modern fighters and want a finished interior under the canopy. It also comes in useful when you are building several aircraft of the same type and are looking for a way to spare yourself repeated work with a brush. Paints, glue and a kit are not part of the delivery.
