A resin replacement propeller in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an upgrade accessory for models of the A-26 Invader attack bomber. The propeller, cast in one piece, has a faithful blade shape and replaces the plastic part of the base kit; the set usually covers the propellers for both engines of the machine.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack bomber that proved itself in the Second World War and flew in later conflicts as well. It was powered by two air-cooled radial engines with multi-blade propellers, whose faithful shape adds to the conviction of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin propeller and cut off the casting block. Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Prime the blades before painting; gloss black with warning tips gives the propellers a realistic look.
The accessory upgrades a plastic kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
