A set of cut masks for spraying the national insignia on an A-4 Skyhawk model in 1:48 scale. An insignia sprayed through a mask merges with the surface: it has no carrier film, it does not lift at the edges and it does not shine differently from the finish around it. The set is aimed at the forms of foreign operators, that is at machines outside the US Air Force and Navy.
The A-4 Skyhawk is an American single-seat carrier attack aircraft that was created as a deliberately small and light machine. The wing came out so economical that it did not have to fold on the deck of a carrier, which is unusual for a carrier aircraft. The type stayed in service for decades and flew with further states as well, which gave it insignia and lettering of their own.
For modelers who prefer sprayed markings to decals and for builders of less usual forms. Which kit the masks are cut for and which forms they cover is given by the manufacturer in the instructions. This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. Paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
