This is not a kit of an aircraft but a resin detail set meant to improve models of the carrier attack machine A-4 Skyhawk in 1:48 scale. The set contains finely worked landing gear bays and an engine with which you will replace the simplified parts of a boxed kit.
Both the landing gear bays and the engine space are among the places where a plastic kit often lacks detail. Resin castings bring faithful texture, lines and ribbing, so that the exposed spaces will hold up even to a close view.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean the parts up. Resin tends to be brittle, so work with a light touch. Glue with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate, and when sanding use protection for your airways and ventilate the room. It is advisable to paint the interior spaces and to bring them out with a wash before the fuselage is closed.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
