Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the carrier-borne light attack aircraft LTV A-7E Corsair II in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The model is molded in gray plastic with finely engraved panel lines, and it contains a detailed cockpit with an instrument panel, a well-worked landing gear, clear parts for the glazed canopy and decals for US Navy carrier squadrons. Pylons and armament are included too.
The A-7E Corsair II was a carrier-borne subsonic attack aircraft of the US Navy, created as the successor to the A-4 Skyhawk light attack aircraft. The A-7E version received a more powerful turbofan engine and a more accurate navigation and attack system, which made it one of the most accurate strike aircraft of its era. The Corsair II proved itself in action in Vietnam and in later conflicts and served from the decks of aircraft carriers for many years.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and the instrument panel and pick them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. Mask the canopy glazing for crisp framing. Assemble and paint the stores separately and fit them only at the end. Spray the camouflage with an airbrush in thin coats over a base primer; a fine panel wash will bring the gray naval scheme to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
