Eduard - Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero exhausts 1:48 (3D printed) is a 3D printed detail set of exhaust stacks with hollow ends. It is not a kit but an accessory for advanced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from the Czech maker Eduard brings 3D printed exhaust stacks for the model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing in resin and have faithfully open (hollow) ends, which are hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic. This is not an airplane model but an accessory that improves one.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the best known Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War; the A6M3 variant brought changes to the powerplant. The exhausts of the radial engine are a prominent detail along the sides of the fuselage.
Carefully separate the parts from the print supports and wash off the print resin residue. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. The exhausts come out best with a combination of metallic shades, rust and heat discoloration; a matte layer of pigment gives them a burnt look.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin detail set (3D printed). The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
