1:48 AMRAAM and HARM — decals for air-launched guided missiles is a sheet from the Two Bobs brand with lettering and markings for models of medium-range missiles and anti-radiation missiles. It is not a model and not a set of parts, but decals in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet from the American maker Two Bobs is devoted to the markings of two types of armament: the medium-range air-to-air guided missile known by the abbreviation AMRAAM, and the high-speed anti-radiation missile designated HARM. These are not plastic parts and not the missiles themselves — the contents are decals with color bands and technical lettering, applied to models of missiles supplied in kits or in separate weapon sets.
The AMRAAM is an American medium-range air-to-air guided missile with active radar guidance in the terminal phase of flight, commonly carried by tactical combat aircraft. The HARM is an anti-radiation missile that homes on the emissions of ground radars. Both are widespread as types and appear under the wings of most modern Western machines, so you will use the sheet across many models.
Missiles supplied in kits tend to be smooth and in an absolutely uniform color — the missing color bands and lettering are precisely the most common reason why the stores on an otherwise handsome model look like a toy. Decals even that out. The work is fine, though: trim the elements under a magnifier, soak them briefly and carry them over with flat-jawed tweezers rather than pointed ones. The cylindrical body of a missile requires the decal to be laid around the circumference with water under the film and drawn in gradually; otherwise it folds over. Again a gloss surface, and a matte clear coat once it has dried. Do not hurry, and count on one missile taking more time than the whole fin of an aircraft.
A decal sheet, not a kit. The missile models, paints and glue are not included in the package.
