Dead Design 1:48 AH-1G Cobra Early In and Out are glazing masks for both sides, cut for the early production form of the Cobra.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set for the Bell AH-1G Cobra in the early production form, scale 1:48. It contains templates for the outer and the inner side of the glazing of the cabin.
This item joins two pieces of information that are distinguished separately with masking sets. Early says which form of the machine the set is cut for; the designation for the inner and the outer side says how far the set goes. If you are building an early Cobra, then, and want the frame of the cabin painted from the view into the interior as well, this is the variant you are looking for - the one-sided set for the early version is kept as a separate item.
Painting glazing from two sides is always a matter of order. First the inside: stick the inner masks on, spray the shade of the interior, let it dry thoroughly. Then the outside: lay the outer templates exactly on the edges of the inner ones and apply the color of the airframe. Before you start, lay both sets down dry and verify against the light that they overlap - as soon as an edge is offset, you will see it on the finished model as a double frame. Dose the paint in thin coats and take the masks off soon after they have gone tacky.
