Hauler 1:48 ammunition for the M4 Sherman is an accessory set of scaled-down rounds for the American M4 medium tank. It is a detail for a finished model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Hauler holds small ammunition parts in 1:48 scale tied to the American M4 Sherman medium tank. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory that brings a finished model to life - in an open hatch, in a stack on the ground by the vehicle, or in a scene with a crew bringing up supplies.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War, built in many production variants and supplied to Allied armies as well. Most machines carried a 75 mm gun, the later versions a more powerful 76 mm gun; the ammunition of the two differs. The stowage of the rounds inside the vehicle also changed during production - later machines got racks surrounded by a water jacket, meant to reduce the risk of fire after a hit. Before you build, therefore, check which version of the Sherman and which caliber the parts suit.
Fit the ammunition only once the painting and the weathering are finished, or you will knock the small pieces off while working. Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw over a tray and keep tweezers at hand. Wash resin castings in warm water with detergent before gluing; they are bonded with super glue. American ammunition was carried in tubes and boxes, so a combination of a few loose rounds and an open crate looks good. Do the case in a brass metallic applied right at the end, the projectile in a more matte color, and tie the whole together with a dark wash and fine dust.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
