Eduard 1:48 Arado Ar 234B: a color photo-etched Zoom set for a quick improvement of the cockpit of the German jet bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color photo-etched set from the Zoom range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard, for improving the plastic model of the Arado Ar 234B in 1:48 scale. The Zoom range concentrates on the essentials that are visible on a finished model, that is, chiefly on the instrument panel, the control consoles and the seat belts. It is not a kit but an accessory.
The Arado Ar 234 was the first jet bomber in the world to be used operationally. The B version served at the end of the Second World War for reconnaissance as well as bombing. The extensively glazed nose makes the cockpit a clearly visible part of the model.
The color parts are self-adhesive and need no painting. Tweezers and a sharp knife are enough for fitting them; a drop of cyanoacrylate glue will make the attachment firmer. The set is ideal as a quick way of raising the realism of the cockpit.
The set contains photo-etched parts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
