A resin supplementary set of the wheels of the main landing gear for a model of the American B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a model in its own right. The castings have a distinct tread pattern of the tires and a fine structure of the hubs, with a realistic flattening where they sit on the ground on some of the wheels.
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. The G version was the most produced and was marked out by the chin turret under the nose. The B-17 bombers made up the backbone of daytime strategic bombing over Europe.
Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and clean them up. Resin allows a crisp boundary between the tire and the hub, so it masks and paints well. Glue them with super glue and bring the tires out with a matte shade and a dust pigment.
This is a supplementary set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
