1:48 B-1B

B-1B Lancer painting masks 1:48 (Eduard)

This is not a kit but a set of painting (masking) masks of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale. The masks are precisely die-cut from yellow kabuki paper (Japanese masking paper) and are self-adhesive. They serve for clean spraying of the cockpit glazing, the wheels and other features of the B-1B Lancer strategic bomber. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Rockwell B-1B Lancer is an American supersonic strategic bomber with a variable-geometry wing. It carries an extensive bomb bay and serves with the US Air Force as a carrier of conventional as well as heavy armament.

Use

• You lay the mask on the place concerned on the model and mask the surroundings.
• You spray the paint over the mask, and once it is peeled off crisp transitions remain.
• It is suitable above all for the frames of the canopy and for the wheels.
• It is used on a dried base coat on the model.

Who the set is for

• For modelers building the B-1B Lancer bomber in 1:48 scale.
• For anyone interested in clean masking without laborious cutting from tape.
• For intermediate and advanced modelers.

This is an accessory (a masking set), not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
