B-26 Marauder engines (1:48, Quickboost) is a set of resin engines for a model of the Martin B-26 Marauder bomber. This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of precisely cast radial engines for a model of the American Martin B-26 Marauder medium bomber in 1:48 scale. The set replaces the engines from the base kit with more faithful resin parts with fine cylinder finning. It is not a model of the airplane but an accessory that raises the realism of the powerplants.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, powered by Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. It was marked by high speed and rather small wings. It was committed above all in the European and Mediterranean theaters.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The engines come into their own once they are painted and the detail is picked out lightly with a wash. Check the fit against the engine nacelles of the kit before gluing.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
