It is not an aircraft model but a photo-etched metal accessory to a kit in 1:48 scale you already own. The set concentrates on the exterior, that is on the outer surfaces of the fuselage, the wings and the engine nacelles, the places where a plastic molding offers no more than a simplified relief. Photo-etched metal makes it possible to produce thin grilles, covers, steps and other elements in their real thickness, which cannot be done in plastic. The exact number of parts is given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber with a high wing loading and fairly high landing speeds, which in the early days of its service made it a demanding machine to fly. The B-26B version was among the widespread production batches and went through changes to its armament and wingspan during production. The type served above all in Europe and in the Mediterranean, attacking transport hubs and tactical targets.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and bend them over a photo-etch bending tool; on larger surfaces a straight steel edge helps. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer, as without one the paint will not hold on smooth metal. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and on clear parts a glue that does not fog works best. On the outer surfaces, proceed with judgment: a photo-etched part has to line up with the engraving in the plastic, otherwise the transition hits the eye. Once painted, bring the panel lines out with a thin wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
