A photo-etched detail set Eduard B5N Kate 1:48 for refining a model of the Japanese carrier torpedo bomber. This is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, that is a set of fine etched brass parts meant to refine a plastic model of the Japanese torpedo bomber Nakajima B5N Kate. It is not an aircraft model in its own right but an accessory for an existing kit. Some of the parts are usually color-printed for a faithful rendering of the instrument panel and the interior; the exact contents follow the instructions in the package.
The Nakajima B5N, given the code Kate by the Allies, was a Japanese carrier torpedo and level bomber of the Second World War period. Among other actions, it was used in the attack on Pearl Harbor and in the fighting in the Pacific. It was marked by folding wings for stowage aboard aircraft carriers and a crew usually of three men.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret and bent over a bending tool or a blade. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, and the color-printed interior parts are not varnished over. Before fitting, we recommend a dry test of the parts on the plastic and degreasing the surface.
This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included unless stated otherwise.
