Eduard B5N1 Kate 1:48 is a colored self-adhesive etched set for detailing the cockpit of the Japanese carrier strike aircraft Nakajima B5N.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored self-adhesive etched set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for detailing the Japanese carrier aircraft Nakajima B5N1 (the Allied code name Kate). It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. The set, from the range of simplified colored sets, focuses mainly on the cockpit: it offers color-printed instruments, safety belts and other fine features of the interior.
The Nakajima B5N was a Japanese carrier torpedo and strike aircraft, at the beginning of the war in the Pacific one of the most capable machines of its category. The B5N1 version was an early variant of this three-seat aircraft; the type became famous for its use against surface targets including large naval operations. For its time it stood out for its range and for the load of bomb and torpedo armament it could carry.
Peel the colored self-adhesive parts off and set them in place; line them up with the plastic parts, which sometimes have to be thinned. Bend the fine etched features accurately and fix them with super glue. Finish the roomier cockpit and fit it before the fuselage is closed up.
This is an etched detail set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
