IDF Green is an acrylic modeling paint from AK interactive in the 3rd Generation range, the green shade of Israeli ground equipment.
Responsibility details are not available.
A green shade from the acrylic 3rd Generation range, by its name intended for Israeli ground equipment. The binder is water-thinnable, so this is an acrylic, not an enamel or a lacquer. Watch out for confusion: a shade with the same name is carried by other manufacturers too, and it also exists in older ranges from this brand, which have a different composition. What decides is the range given for the item, that is 3rd Generation. Check the volume of the bottle on the label of the package.
An acrylic paint lives on how it is treated between individual builds. The pigment settles at the bottom while it stands, so shake the bottle thoroughly before every use, ideally for several tens of seconds. Wipe the cap, as dried paint in the thread will in time make it impossible to close the bottle and the rest of the contents will dry out. Store the paint dry and above freezing; frozen acrylic curdles and cannot be brought back. Flush the airbrush immediately after finishing work, while the paint is fresh, as water will no longer dissolve dried acrylic and a cleaner has to be used.
For modelers focused on Middle Eastern equipment who want a particular national shade, and for anyone building a palette of acrylic greens from one range with consistent behavior.
An acrylic paint. Ventilate and protect your airways when spraying, keep it closed and out of the reach of children, and do not expose it to frost.
