Responsibility details are not available.
This cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the British twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter heavy fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields with no lengthy hand-cutting of tape.
The Bristol Beaufighter is a British twin-engine heavy fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by two radial engines and carried heavy gun and rocket armament. It proved itself as a radar-equipped night fighter, as an attack and anti-shipping aircraft and as a torpedo bomber. Its robust construction and heavy firepower earned it a reputation as a feared opponent over land and sea alike.
Degrease the cockpit glazing and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and place them on the individual frames, press them into the edges and fill small gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle so that the fresh coat is not damaged.
The package holds only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
