Balance weights for the Bf 109 in 1:48 scale from Eduard. A resin set made by direct 3D printing, fine additions to the control surfaces of the German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine control surface balance weights for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in 1:48 scale from Eduard. The parts are made by direct 3D printing, so they have crisp edges and the faithful shape of the small metal fittings that sat on the ailerons and the elevator of the real aircraft. The set is intended for Bf 109 models and replaces or supplements the detail of the base kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The small external weights served to balance the control surfaces, and they are exactly the kind of detail that sets an ordinary model apart from a carefully built one.
Carefully separate the miniature parts from the supports and clean them up. Given their size, work with tweezers and glue with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint them in the color of the surface they belong to. Protect your airways when sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete aircraft model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
