Eduard Bf 109F LööK 1:48 is an accessory set with a resin instrument panel and steel seat belts, both pre-printed in color. They only have to be taken out, cleaned up and glued into the cockpit of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set from the Czech maker Eduard of the LööK line, meant for improving the cockpit of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F in 1:48. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a set of replacement parts: it holds a resin instrument panel cast with raised detail and seat belts of steel sheet. Both are pre-printed in color by the maker, so laborious painting and picking out of the instruments becomes unnecessary. The result is finished in a moment and is apparent at first glance in the cockpit.
The Bf 109F was a stage in the development of the most widespread German fighter aircraft of the Second World War. Against the older versions it was given an aerodynamically cleaner nose, rounded wingtips and a reworked rear section with the bracing strut of the tail surfaces done away with. The cockpit stayed cramped and clearly laid out, so even a small improvement of the instrument panel is clearly visible in 1:48, especially if you build the model with the canopy open.
For modelers who want to get believable instruments and belts into a cockpit quickly and without painting. It suits those as well who do not feel up to painting fine details, because the maker has done the main work.
The set is an accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
