The Messerschmitt Bf-109 ranks among the most important German fighters of the Second World War. The F and G versions had a small retractable or fixed tail wheel at the end of the fuselage, a small but conspicuous detail that is easy to improve.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin part and cut away the casting block. Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the tire flat black or dark gray and the wheel rim to match the particular aircraft; a fine wash will bring out the tread and the wear.
