This is a resin accessory set, not an aircraft model. It contains replacement exhaust stacks for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the F, G and K versions in 1:48 scale. The castings have faithfully rendered rows of exhausts and suggested hollow outlets, which improves the look of the sides of the engine cowling markedly compared with plastic parts.
The Bf 109 was the main fighter of the Luftwaffe. The F, G and K versions made up the later development line, with more powerful engines of the DB 601/605 family and characteristic exhausts projecting along the sides of the cowling.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with your airways protected. The exhausts come out well once painted in metallic and rusty shades and lightly accentuated with pigments.
