1:48 Bf 109G-6

Eduard painting mask Bf 109G-6 1:48

A painting mask from Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a modeling accessory, a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks of fine masking tape. The masks follow the framing of the canopy and the circles of the wheels exactly, so they allow fast and clean spraying without lengthy cutting out. The subject is the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-6 version. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War and one of the most produced fighters in history. The G-6 version, nicknamed Gustav, was one of the most widespread and carried the characteristic gun covers on the cowling ahead of the cockpit.

Use

• Lift the masks carefully off the sheet and stick them precisely onto the cockpit glazing and the wheels of the model.
• Press the edges down carefully so that no paint creeps under them, and then spray the color of the frames.
• Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off, which leaves sharp and clean edges.
• They are used on an assembled and base-painted model.

Who it is for

• For modelers building the Bf 109G-6 in 1:48 scale.
• For anyone who wants clean masking of glazing and wheels without preparing masks by hand.

An accessory for modelers. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
