A set of hydraulic handbrakes with an upright lever and a cylinder of their own. The mark of drift and rally conversions.
Responsibility details are not available.
An ordinary handbrake pulls cable linkages and serves mainly to secure a stationary car. As soon as braking the rear axle begins to be used as a tool of steering, however, a cable stops being enough: it reacts late, the force is divided unevenly and after a few pulls it goes slack. The answer is a lever with its own master cylinder, which pushes fluid straight into the rear calipers, outside the cable system. It bites at once, can be metered with the fingers of one hand and, at full travel, locks the wheels so reliably that the car pivots around its front axle.
The position on the real car is always the same: upright on the transmission tunnel beside the shift lever, so that the driver can reach it without letting go of the wheel. On rally specials it usually has a short knob and a guard; on drift cars it tends to be longer, with a conspicuous handle and often with a horizontal flange bolted through the carpet. The plural in the name suggests that the package offers more than one form, so a shape matching the intended subject can be chosen.
The cylinder with its reservoir should be bright metal, while the lever itself is usually dark or anodized in a deep shade. You will get the best result by painting the knob separately and only then fitting it. The run of the fluid line is suggested by a thin wire bent into a gentle curve, because a straight tube looks lifeless. The interior and the kit of the car are not supplied.
