Bf 110 Zerstorer decals, part 2, in 1:48 scale follow on from the first part of the series and bring further markings for models of the twin-engined Messerschmitt.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of the Print Scale decal series for the twin-engined Messerschmitt Bf 110 in 1:48 scale. The sheet is a standalone product: it holds its own set of markings and does not assume you have the first part. It is not a kit but an accessory for a finished, painted model.
The Bf 110 was designed as a heavy fighter with a crew of two and a pair of Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engines. The combination of range and heavy forward-firing armament suited it to escort and attack duties, and later it found work as a fighter-bomber and in the night fighter role. The airframe went through a series of changes, so individual machines differ in the shape of their cowlings, their canopy glazing and their armament; the version also changes where the markings belong on the fuselage and the wing.
The Bf 110 has a great many engraved lines and transitions on the fuselage and the wing that a decal has to settle into. That is what a decal softener is for: it is brushed onto a marking that is already seated and softens the film for a while so that it clings to the shape beneath it. The crucial thing is then not to touch the decal until it has dried, or it will wrinkle or tear. Always test the strength of the product on an offcut from the edge of the sheet; more aggressive types can literally dissolve the thin film. A weaker version applied twice is safer than one strong dose.
