This finely cast resin set replaces the automatic slats on the wing leading edge of the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter in the C and D versions in 1:48 scale. Faithfully rendered slats with thin edges let you show this recognition feature of the wing more exactly than the parts from the box allow. The part is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
On the Bf 110 the leading-edge slats deployed automatically at low speeds and were among the characteristic features of its wing. The resin version captures the thin sections and fine details that are hard to form in solid plastic. Once seated and painted, the wing leading edge looks accurate and the transitions between the fixed part and the slat stay clean.
