An Eduard photo-etched set intended for sharpening up a plastic model of the Messerschmitt Bf 110G-2 in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory in thin etched sheet, which replaces and refines parts beyond the reach of injection-molded plastic. Some of the parts are printed in color for immediate use.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engined heavy fighter (Zerstörer) used during the Second World War. The Bf 110G version was one of the late, heavily armed variants, deployed above all as a night fighter and in the Defense of the Reich airspace. It was powered by Daimler-Benz engines.
The photo-etched parts pick out items of the interior and the exterior alike: instrument panels, cockpit items, seat belts and small external details. The parts are separated with a sharp knife and glued with super glue; the colored parts are not painted over.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a whole model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
