Eduard 1:48 Bf-110G-4 Weekend is a smaller pre-colored photo-etched set of the Zoom line for the interior of a model of the twin-engine night fighter in the simplified edition of the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a photo-etched accessory set. It belongs to the Zoom line, which means a smaller, pre-colored set focused on the cockpit interior rather than on the exterior of the model. The word Weekend in the name refers to the simplified edition of the Eduard kit the set is cut for. It is precisely with that edition that the add-on makes the most sense, because the contents of the box tend to be more modest than in the better-equipped editions. Look for the particular list of parts in the manufacturer's description.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 was the night fighter version of the twin-engine heavy fighter. It differed from the day variants in the installation of an airborne radar with prominent antennas on the nose and in a crew enlarged by an operator. It was powered by Daimler-Benz DB 605 engines. The cockpit is clearly visible on a model in 1:48 scale under the extensive glazing, which makes it a rewarding place for accessories.
Do not varnish the pre-colored parts. You bring out the instruments with a drop of gloss varnish or super glue directly on the dial. Separate the parts with a scalpel against a hard surface, bend them on a photo-etch bending tool and glue them with super glue in a minimal amount, so that it does not run onto a visible surface. With the long glazed cockpit it pays to assemble the interior dry first and to check that the fuselage and the canopy close without pressure.
