Eduard 1:48 Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C/D TFace is a masking set for the outer as well as the inner side of the clear parts of a model of the British carrier strike aircraft.

A self-adhesive masking set for a model in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The TFace designation means masks for both sides of a clear part, so the frames of the glazing can be sprayed from the inside in the shade of the cockpit interior and only then from the outside in the top color of the airframe. It is not a kit nor decals but an accessory for a build. Besides this item Eduard makes the basic single-sided form for the same aircraft and scale; they are two different products.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British twin-engined carrier strike aircraft designed for flight at very low altitudes and high speeds, and its robust airframe and deep fuselage correspond to that. The S.2 form received turbofan engines compared with the first series; the designations S.2C and S.2D distinguish later modifications to the equipment of Fleet Air Arm machines. The cockpit is two-seat and in tandem, with divided glazed parts and prominent framing, which in 1:48 scale can only be masked by hand in a drawn-out way.
The inner side first, as you can no longer reach it once the cockpit is closed. Wash the clear part, degrease it and let it dry completely. Release the mask from the sheet with the tip of a scalpel, transfer it with tweezers and seat it against the frame, then press it down with a soft tool all the way round. Trim any overhang with a new blade in a light stroke exactly along the outline, so that the clear plastic is not scratched. Spray first a thin sealing layer of the base, then the shade itself over several light passes. Take the masks off once the paint has gone touch-dry, pulling slowly back over themselves.
It is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
