The interior of the Boeing B-17G bomber 1:48, color 3D print on a paper carrier from Quinta Studio in the smaller extent. It adds raised and colored details to the crew stations.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory rests on parts that were created by printing in layers and have the color already in them. The carrier is decal paper, so the pieces release in water and seat directly on the plastic. In a large scale it is a practical way to fill the empty walls without dozens of hours over a brush. The smaller extent of the set is stated in the name.
The G version is easy to recognize by the chin turret, which the designers added against head-on attacks by fighters. Cheek gun positions were added at the sides of the nose as well, and the side windows were staggered so that the gunners did not get in each other's way. It was precisely this shape that was built in the highest numbers and formed the backbone of the tight combat boxes over Germany in the last two years of the war, when the crews spent whole hours in the cold of high altitudes.
Work from the places that stay visible once the fuselage is closed, that is, from the cabin and the area around the side windows. Level the base and go over it with a matte coat, so that the plastic does not shine under the part. Once it is seated, let everything dry overnight and only then glue the halves together. Small scuffs on the working surfaces add the impression of a machine with plenty of takeoffs behind it.
The bomber, paints and thinner are not supplied with this accessory.
