The package combines plastic sprues including clear parts with resin details and a photo-etched fret, so it is a multimedia kit. The Breda 65 was an Italian attack and ground attack design of the second half of the 1930s, built in single-seat and two-seat variants and with various powerplants. Machines under the banner of the Aviazione Legionaria, the Italian volunteer corps, took part in the fighting in Spain, where they proved themselves in the attack and reconnaissance role. Characteristic features were the robust design and the mixed metal-and-fabric construction.
The combination of materials calls for a more experienced hand: wash the resin parts free of the remains of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them, as well as the photo-etched parts, with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Join the plastic parts with thin cement for plastic. Use a primer before painting, and an airbrush suits masking the Spanish markings. With resin, remember to protect your airways while sanding.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
