ICM 1:48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.I is a plastic kit of the British twin-engined torpedo bomber of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bomber in 1:48 scale from ICM. It is a new mold that captures the characteristic shapes of this twin-engined machine, and clear parts and a decal sheet for several RAF machines are included in the box.
The Bristol Beaufort was a British twin-engined torpedo bomber that served from the late 1930s above all with RAF Coastal Command. It was used to attack shipping, to lay mines and to drop torpedoes, both over the North Sea and in the Mediterranean. It also became the basis for the later Beaufighter heavy fighter.
Assemble and paint the cockpit and the interior before the fuselage is closed up, and protect the glazing with a mask. Use thin plastic cement on the joints and apply the camouflage with an airbrush over a primer. A gloss coat before the decals helps them settle without silvering, and a matte coat with a fine panel wash comes at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
