Eduard, steel seat belts Bristol Bulldog Mk.II 1:48

A pre-colored etched set of seat belts from Eduard in 1:48 scale. The belts are made of thin steel, which unlike brass holds a shape better and allows a realistic drape and bend. The set is intended for the cockpit of the Bristol Bulldog Mk.II biplane and is a refining accessory, not an aircraft model.

Use

  • the belts are pre-painted, so there is no need to paint them
  • the parts are cut from the etched fret and the steel is easily shaped into a faithful drape
  • they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate, CA)
  • best added to the seat and the cockpit interior before the fuselage is closed

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to detail the cockpit of the Bristol Bulldog Mk.II in 1:48 scale quickly and faithfully. Steel belts will also be appreciated by those who prefer a realistic drape over stiffer brass etched parts.

The accessory holds small metal parts. Super glue is flammable, so work in a well ventilated space.

No. The belts are pre-painted. You only cut them from the fret, shape them and glue them on.

Steel holds a shape better, so the belts look naturally draped and imitate the fabric straps in a cockpit more faithfully.
