It is not a kit of an aircraft or a vehicle; the set fills out the surroundings into which you put your own model.
A model of an aircraft on its own on a bare base looks static. As soon as ground servicing equipment appears beside it, a story appears too, and the viewer can see at once which era and which air force it is. The set suits biplanes in 1:48 scale, both for a display case and for a larger diorama with figures of ground crew. After unpacking, check exactly what the set contains and choose the procedure accordingly.
Resin accessories are washed first in lukewarm soapy water, so that the mold release agent disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint holds badly. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and true the surface up with a file; protect your airways when sanding. Painting starts with a primer, then the base shades, and finally weathering: dust in the lower areas, greasy stains around the caps and filler necks, small scuffs on the edges. Paint the set separately from the aircraft and bring it together with the scene only at the end.
