This is an add-on set in resin, not a model of an aircraft. It contains replacement propellers for a model of the carrier transport aircraft C-2 Greyhound in 1:48 scale. Faithfully executed blades and propeller hubs raise the realism of the powerplant and save the labor of cleaning up plastic parts.
The C-2 Greyhound is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft serving to carry cargo and personnel to aircraft carriers (the COD role). It derives from a design close to the E-2 Hawkeye and is characterized by large multi-blade propellers.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Align the propellers before gluing, so that the pitch of the blades sits right.
