An interior photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion heavy transport helicopter in 1:48 scale. The set adds fine etched parts to the flight deck and the cargo cabin, replacing simplified plastic parts and raising the fidelity of the finished model. It is not a helicopter model but a detail accessory to the matching kit.
The Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion is an American heavy transport helicopter powered by three engines, used above all by the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. It can carry troops, heavy equipment and external loads, and it ranks among the most powerful Western helicopters in its class.
First separate the etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a cutting mat and clean them up gently. Make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler so that the edges stay crisp. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); liquid cement used on plastic will not hold them. Before setting them into the cabin it pays to paint the parts and give them a light wash. This is work for more advanced modelers used to fine photo-etched parts.
This is not an aircraft model but a photo-etched detail set for the matching kit in the given scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the kit itself are not included in the package.
