Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Eduard brings fine photo-etched metal parts for refining plastic models of the Dewoitine D.520 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit - it is an accessory meant to be built into a basic kit already under construction. The photo-etched parts refine above all the cockpit and the interior: the instrument panel, the side panels, the harness belts and other small features that plastic cannot capture accurately.
The Dewoitine D.520 was a French single-seat fighter of the Second World War period. It was powered by a Hispano-Suiza V12 engine and was armed with a cannon firing through the propeller hub and machine guns in the wings. It was the most modern French fighter used during the Battle of France in 1940 and one of the few that came close in performance to its German opponents.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or two-part epoxy resin. Once painted and with the recesses picked out with a wash, the interior gains markedly in depth.
This is an accessory, not a model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
