Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary British aircraft de Havilland Mosquito in 1:48 scale from Tamiya. The package makes it possible to build either the fighter-bomber version FB Mk.VI or the night fighter NF Mk.II. It includes parts for the nose and wing radar antennas of the night fighter version, bombs and rockets for the attack version and a detailed bomb bay; crew figures are enclosed as well.
The Mosquito, nicknamed the Wooden Wonder thanks to its largely wooden structure, was among the fastest and most versatile aircraft of the Second World War. It was powered by two Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines. The NF Mk.II was a night fighter with airborne radar (in service from 1942), while the FB Mk.VI was a fighter-bomber able to carry bombs, rockets and gun armament (from 1943).
Paint and assemble the pilot's cockpit and the bomb bay before closing the fuselage. Glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic and treat the surfaces with a primer before painting. Apply the British camouflage schemes with an airbrush; you can bring out the panel lines and the surface texture with a wash. Take care to choose the right parts for the version you have picked (FB Mk.VI versus NF Mk.II).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
