A resin set of landing gear wheels from RESArm in 1:48 scale for a model of the De Havilland Mosquito in its late version (LATE). The wheels are cast with a realistic flattening under load that simulates the way the tire is pressed down by the weight of a standing aircraft. The set is NOT a model but a detail accessory.
The De Havilland Mosquito was a British multi-purpose aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. It excelled in speed and versatility and served as a bomber, a fighter and a reconnaissance machine.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean them up. Fit the wheels with their load imprint so that the flattening sits correctly on the base. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
This is an add-on wheel set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
