AML Red Devils in LaGG-3, Part I (1:48) is a decal set for Soviet Lavochkin LaGG-3 fighters with their well-known devil artwork. It is a re-edition, not a kit.

This is a set of waterslide decals, not an airplane model. The sheets bring several marking options for Soviet Lavochkin LaGG-3 fighters that carried striking devil artwork, hence Red Devils. It is a re-edited issue of an earlier popular set.
The LaGG-3 was a Soviet fighter of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War with a largely wooden structure. Although it was heavy and demanding to fly, it served at the front in large numbers, and some units decorated their machines with striking personal and unit motifs.
The decals are cut out, soaked in lukewarm water and slid onto a surface of the model prepared with a gloss coat. A gloss base and a matte coat afterwards are recommended, so that the edges blend in; decal softeners help them settle into the detail. A small resin part is normally included in the package as well.
This is a stand-alone decal set. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
