This is not an airplane model but a colored photo-etched detail set. It serves to refine plastic models of the German Dornier Do 17Z-2 bomber in 1:48 scale, above all around the glazed cockpit and the smaller details of the airframe.
Typically color-printed instrument panels and consoles, seatbelts, seat elements and other fine interior parts, complemented by small exterior details. The painted photo-etched parts are ready to glue without further painting.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, bent in a photo-etch bending tool or over a razor blade and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etched parts. The printed surfaces are not overcoated, only fixed with matte varnish if needed.
The accessory requires a separate 1:48 plastic model of the Do 17Z-2; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
