This is not an airplane model but a resin detail set for models of the German bomber Dornier Do 217 in 1:48 scale. The set makes the air intake more accurate and replaces it with a more sharply cast resin part with a more faithful shape than the plastic one.
The Dornier Do 217 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War period, developed on from the Do 17. It was used as a medium and heavy bomber, a torpedo carrier and a carrier of guided bombs, and in the later versions also as a night fighter.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the part and cut it off the casting block. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before painting, apply a filler primer and spray with an airbrush, so that the casting blends into the surrounding surface.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
